Love Never To End (DVD) (English Subtitled) (Hong Kong Version)
"e;If you really love me, then kill me."e; Washed-out writer Murao Kikuji (Toyokawa Etsushi) penned many popular novels in the past, but it has been a while since he's written anything new. Separated from his wife, he passes his time editing for a magazine and lecturing at a university. When Kikuji meets housewife Fuyuka (Terajima Shinobu), the two lonely souls instantly connect, forming an illicit bond of love and passion. Then one summer morning, Kikuji strangles Fuyuka to death - because she asked him to. Based on Watanabe Junichi's racy best-selling novel, Ai no Rukeichi (a.k.a. Love Never to End) is a sexually charged, unapologetic tale about adultery, passion, and that one moment that defines life. Offering his debut feature after years in television, Tsuruhashi Yasuo does not tell an easy story here, combining romance, tragedy, and erotica into an impulsive anthem of life, love, and death. Following their collaboration in Hiroki Ryuichi's It's Only Talk, Toyokawa Etsushi (Hula Girls) and Terajima Shinobu (Tokyo Tower) find pitch-perfect romantic chemistry in Ai no Rukeichi, while Hasegawa Kyoko (Three...Extremes) is tough and fiery as a defense attorney.

Kick Boxer (DVD) (Hong Kong Version)
Hong Kong action hero Yuen Biao (The Prodigal Son) and Shaw Brothers vet Wu Ma (The Shaolin Heroes) team up for the 1993 period actioner Kick Boxer. Wu Ma takes on both directing and acting duties, while Yuen stars as the titular kicker, folk hero "e;Ghost Leg Seven"e; Lau Chat, another one of Wong Fei Hung's storied disciples known for his speed and phenomenal kicking. Following the hot-blooded youth of Lau, Kick Boxer makes a good companion piece to Prodigal Son and is definitely worth a watch for fans of Yuen Biao and Wong Fei Hung-themed films. The film also co-stars wily martial artist Yuen Wah (Kung Fu Hustle) and actress Sheila Chan (Her Fatal Ways). After bringing too many problems to his family, spoiled young Lau Chat (Yuen Biao) gets sent to Po Chi Lam where he becomes Wong Fei Hung's disciple. Young and easily incensed, Lau is quick to defend the weak, but his impulsive actions often lead to trouble. Not only does he get into a fight with foreigners, he gets duped into smuggling opium. With Master Wong away, it's up to Lau to clear his name and bring the true criminals to justice.
