The hugely popular The Prince of Tennis franchise simply shows no signs of letting up. Konomi Takeshi's manga has spawned an anime series, an OVA, a live-action film, a long-running musical series, and a multitude of spin-off products. Now, following on the heels of Zenkoku Taikai Hen, comes the second Prince of Tennis OVA. Zenkoku Taikai Hen Semifinal, or National Championship Semifinal, picks up the story three months after the first OVA. This time Ryoma Echizen and the Seigaku team will be facing off against rival school Shiten Hoji as they forehand their way through the national championship semifinals.
